In a few years, the Marqués de Cáceres brand became famous, both in Spain and abroad, where half of the production is exported to more than 120 markets. A positive wager guaranteed by the pursuit of the best possible quality year after year, through rigour, effort and permanent attention to detail within a constant process of development.
This commitment to quality and prestige was based on the long-term. It is, therefore, no surprise that for the first 4 years, the vineyard limited its activity to selecting the grapes that it purchased, vinifying these carefully, ageing its wines in the best of French oak and then bottled to bring out their full finesse and elegance. For this reason, the first bottles were not sold until 1975.
The quality imposed by Marqués de Cáceres over the years has merited international recognition and the unanimity of the specialised press. The vineyard is today considered one of the major ambassadors of Spanish wines in the world. A welcome reward that compensates the efforts of its founder and his team who are well aware that this responsibility towards quality represents a guarantee towards the future.
